What’s New in the Snow Biome

1. Release & Overview

Officially released on August 1, 2025,

It marks a two‑part biome update, with Part 1 debuting the snow terrain and associated gameplay features 

2. New Terrain & Structures

A white, icy region replaces the green forest clearly visible on the world map.

Special warm cabins/crafting huts pop up, marked with snow‑cap icons for clothing crafting 

3. Enemies

Polar Bears (stronger than earlier bears), Arctic Foxes, and Mammoths now roam the snowy zones.

These threats deal high damage especially Polar Bears and Mammoths 

4. Items & Crafting

Warm clothing, new weapons, armor, and hats help resist freeze effects.

Crafting required pelts from Arctic Foxes, Mammoths, and Polar Bears to survive the cold

Walkthrough: How to Play Through this Update

Prepare your base camp before venturing in  stock gear and note teleporter location.

Enter the biome via the snowy on‑map area. Your environment will change instantly to snowy visuals.

Gather pelts: track and hunt Arctic Foxes, Mammoths, and Polar Bears.

Visit the crafting cabin: craft warm gear to avoid freezing (e.g. hats, coats).

Complete badges:

Start crafting to unlock Knitting.

Hunt beasts to progress Wilderness Hunting.

Explore until you discover the Ice Temple  smash the ice for the Ice Sculpting badge.

Keep an eye out for hidden clues or interactables to crack the Reconstruction mystery.

Use ranged combat: favor bows or magic close combat is risky.

Teleporter strategy: retreat when health dips, heal and return.

No recipes added beyond warm clothing focus resources wisely

Part 1: unveiled snow biome, enemies, structures, gear, and badges (Aug 1, 2025) 

Part 2: expected later  may bring new recipes, areas, NPCs, or permanent content.
